• 2 ripe avocados
• 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
• 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
• 1/4 cup plant-based milk (such as almond or coconut milk)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
• Optional toppings: shaved dark chocolate, fresh berries, or chopped nuts


1) In a food processor or blender, combine the ripe avocados, raw cacao powder, maple syrup or agave nectar, plant-based milk, vanilla extract, and salt.

2) Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the processor as needed.

3) Transfer the mixture to serving bowls or glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.

4) Just before serving, garnish the mousse with shaved dark chocolate, fresh berries, or chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
