INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup dark chocolate chips (vegan-friendly)
• 1/4 cup hazelnut butter
• 1/4 cup coconut milk
• 1/4 cup finely chopped hazelnuts
• 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt

Optional coatings:

• Finely chopped hazelnuts

• Shredded coconut

HOW TO MAKE IT

1) In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.

2) Add the hazelnut butter, coconut milk, finely chopped hazelnuts, maple syrup or agave nectar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the melted chocolate. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.

3) Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes, or until it becomes firm enough to handle.

4) Remove the mixture from the refrigerator. Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, portion out small amounts of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized truffle balls.

5) Roll each truffle ball in your preferred coating option, such as finely chopped hazelnuts, cocoa powder, or shredded coconut. Ensure they are evenly coated.

6) Place the coated truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and return them to the refrigerator for another 10-15 minutes to firm up.

7) Once the truffles are set, transfer them to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
